COMPLETION DATE

The date that the balance of the purchase price is paid over and legal title to the property passes from the seller to the buyer. It is also the day on which you move. Don't make any firm commitments, such as giving notice or booking removals, before the Completion Date is set -- if you have any doubts about this then talk to us first.

We normally arrange for everything to be signed before the Completion Date so that you can get on with the move. If you are going on holiday shortly before the Completion Date please let us know in good time.

We will obviously not commit you to a Completion date without discussing it with you. Often you will be part of a chain of sale and purchases; in that case the Completion Date will have to depend upon a number of factors, and we will have to try and find a date that is convenient for everyone in the chain.
